Dr. Phillips is an amazing doctor. When I moved back to my hometown and had to switch Pediatricians for my 10 month old son, Dr. Phillips was one of the first pediatricians recommended. She is always willing to talk to me about the symptoms my son is having, and always willing to see him regardless of the time of day. She answers all my questions for everything, and never makes me feel "dumb" or like I don't know what I'm talking about. She is amazing. I will be taking all of my future children to her.
My two kids love Dr. Phillips. I do, too - especially after she caught a random and fairly rare vitamin deficiency in my child, and treated it promptly! We are big fans.
When I first moved back home to Mississippi with my 4 grandchildren in tow, we selected Dr Catherine Philips to be the children's Doctor. She was EXCELLENT. The children liked her very much and refer to her as Dr Catherine. She always included them in the discussion regarding how they thought or felt. She also made their questions and fears a top priority. Fasting forward to the present, she is now dealing with all teenagers and is aware of their need to discuss things privately with her. One of my granddaughters who is going thru some life changing teenager issues is often taken to a private office to discuss her needs freely. All of them love her very much. My mother is often with me and when she comes in with the children Dr Catherine comes out and gives her a hug in welcome.
My wife and I just started using Phillips Pediatrics for our daughter and we couldn’t be more pleased. From being able to fill out our new patient paperwork on our phones, to having Dr. Phillips call us after hours to keep us updated, every service they can possibly provide has been nothing but excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and they get you in and out quickly. Dealing with any medical needs for your child is a stressful experience. So having a staff take care of your child the way they do is priceless.
I brought my son to see Dr. Phillips after his having had breathing difficulties that landed us at Le Bonheur the night before. He had been having trouble breathing for a week and had been on breathing treatments that just did not seem to be helping. He was given two shots and antibiotics for an ear infection. I’m happy to say he is doing 100% better now! But I’m not surprised. This is the same pediatrician who came to see him twice when he was born in her regular clothes (that’s commitment!) and diagnosed him with a heart murmur on her first time checking him over. She’s amazing and we love her! If you want someone who will honestly love and care for your child I have to suggest you bring him/her to see Dr. Phillips. You’ll be so happy you did!
