Emily Teer, FNP-C
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Oxford, MS
Emily Teer is a certified family nurse practitioner. She grew up in Ridgeland, MS and attended the University of Mississippi. She was a Sally Barksdale Honors Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minor in English and Nursing. She went to nursing school in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt University where she received her Masters in Nursing.
Emily is happily married to her husband, William, and is a proud dog mom to her buddies, Fitz and Gomez. She is an involved member of Oxford University United Methodist Church and an active member of the Junior Auxiliary of Oxford. In her spare time she loves all things outdoors, catching up with friends, and enjoying all the incredible restaurants in Oxford.
Emily started her career in family practice managing a large patient population and variety of chronic diseases, including hypertension and diabetes. Her favorite patients were always the little ones and teens! This led her to Phillips Pediatrics where she works alongside Dr. Phillips helping manage our medically complex patients. Emily specializes in pediatric mental health and adolescent medicine. She enjoys serving your families and prioritizes your child’s health and well-being!
